In June, 2025, we will be hosting a team from the Denver area who is passionate about healthcare and education for women and families. From childbirth education, to infectious disease prevention to elderly care, they are going to offer practical advice and education to hospitals, communities and other NGO's. This trip is not without considerable cost, both financially and emotionally. Please consider partnering with this team to make their contribution to Cape Town a reality.
Meet the Team:
Dawn is a certified Doula(CD DONA) and a certified childbirth educator with CAPPA, an Ambassador and on the Board of Directors for Havilah Collective. She'll be teaching childbirth education in Ocean View and partnering to lead a workshop for the doulas at a local hospital.
Denise is a certified PA in Childhood Infectious Disease in the Denver area. She'll be teaching mothers preventative disease care for their children, how to recognize and care for illness, and breastfeeding support. She has a wealth of knowledge and a depth of compassion.
Sandy is the backbone of this group. She lives in Spain where she serves and loves the women in her community. She brings what we all need: wisdom, compassion and humor. She is an Ambassador for Havilah Collective.
